Description
Klínovec (1,244 m) is the highest peak of the Ore Mountains (Krušné hory / Erzgebirge) range along the Czech-German border. A distinctive observation tower and a ski resort mark the summit. The gentle ridge landscape, scarred by centuries of silver and tin mining, offers panoramic views of the Bohemian basin below. The surrounding area has been revitalised after Cold War-era industrial damage.

Observation tower with café open year-round (€3). Road leads almost to summit (parking fee). Ski resort with lifts operational in winter. Trailhead at Boží Dar (1,020 m) — short approach. Accessible for families and elderly visitors. UNESCO World Heritage Erzgebirge Mining Region nearby.
